6 January 2007

The 31 Day Calendar of Posts topic for 6 January 2007 is: “Link to Posts that Stuck with You. Share the posts that have stayed with you. Give encore links and tell why you’re bringing them back.”

The funnies:

Worst Nightmare from Ayamanna – I love humour, it really picks my day up. This was one of the more memorable ones…

Weight Loss Ads from Kennysia – What Kenny writes is so true but written in such an amusing manner…

I Love My Wife from Big Big Planet – the things we do for love…

Merry Christmas Everyone from Tokkok – satire, my favourite form of humour, on topics I find frustrating since I have observed everything that Patrick talks about.

On Motherhood:

Just Play? from Imperfectchristian – for reminding us that a stay-at-home mother’s couldn’t be more important!

Missing You from For ESE – witness a mother’s love, no greater love could be expressed as well as this.

How to ensure your child doesn’t become a Psychopath from Amonshi – the fine line on how a child’s upbringing can influence what they become as adults.

Aspirations:

I Want to Make a Difference Too from Successful Blog – Because I believe, too that I can make a difference. I think it’s the desire to make a difference that differentiates those who will from those who won’t. Everyone has the potential to make a difference. The realisation of that potential lies in the heart of the individual.

Outdated Beliefs:

Why Szen the Grandfather Story from Szen – As a daughter in a Chinese family, I can identify with Szen’s issues of being born a girl-child instead of the preferred boy-child. This post struck rather close to home for me.

Predictions:

Thirteen Lucky Predictions for Harry from Scribbit – I loved Harry Potter and have been eagerly awaiting the final instalment of this series. I have my own ideas on what’s coming for the final book, and it was nice to read what others are predicting.
