Lemon Road

Recommended by many gurus of goal planning, achieving your dreams, are that we visualise having what we dream about. Therefore, taking a leaf out of their books, I’ve decided to start posting up pictures of properties I want to own and holiday destinations I would like to take Gavin to visit when he is old enough.

Here is a house from my old neighbourhood back when I was living in Australia. I’ve always liked the area, perhaps because I spent most of my growing-up years there. It was peaceful, scenic and convenient – good public transport system, easy access to shops, with a great school in the area (my school, of course).

My gripes about this property:

The garage does not connect directly into the house, although hubby likes the positive fung shui of the bedroom positions with the masterbed at the back and the childrens’ bedrooms in the front. The downside is that the house is facing south – not a good direction for the hubby.

Although I’m not a superstitious person, I do believe that if one partner really believes in this stuff, it’s probably best not to go against their thoughts. What I do believe is that the mind will create what it believes regardless of whether the information is factual or mythical. The power of the mind is so strong that if a person is convinced that certains things are “lucky” or “unlucky”, it might well be so because of the power of that person’s belief.
